Brokerplan Business Owner Package
Executive Summary
The Brokerplan Business Owner programme delivers a comprehensive training , business set up and support package to enable you to launch your own, wholly independent, Commercial Finance practice.The essence of the opportunity is that you will become skilled and experienced in providing Commercial Finance Consultancy and Broking services to SME business owners and managers in your region and further afield from within your Professional and Business networks.
We will provide an initial 4 full days of business training and pre-launch support followed up with 2 full days of personal 1:1 executive mentorship delivered within your own business environment from a member of our Executive Management team. Your nominated executive mentor will be available for ongoing support and strategic guidance with scheduled formal weekly reviews for the first 3 months following business launch and thereafter by mutual arrangement as necessary.
Unrestricted Business Territory
As a Brokerplan Business Owner there are no geographic restrictions on where you conduct business. You retain 100% of all fee income derived from the business opportunity other than in cases where you request Shared Opportunity Support (SOS) - for details please see below.
Included in the package fee is 12 months comprehensive business and consultancy support commencing on completion of initial training and this is optionally renewed subject to the payment of a modest quarterly business support fee.
Comprehensive Business Development Support
Integral to the Business Owner package is a comprehensive business administration module pre-loaded on to a high specification Dell wireless laptop computer and including all business forms, documentation, templates etc. necessary for the business. You will receive our Partner Lender Directory in both hard copy and electronic format, this provides comprehensive details and direct access to over 200 UK based Commercial Finance firms who will provide funding solutions across a broad range of financial products. The Partner Lender Directory is a 'live' working document and you will receive regular updates and notification of new lenders coming to the market
The Marketing and Business development module includes a fully functional Commercial Finance web-site configured and customised to your own brand and business name and including web hosting / domain registration if required. As an example: www.alternative-finance.co.uk
To assist Marketing we provide you a comprehensive 'live' SME business database of 2 Million UK businesses and a range of business development tools including CRM / Case Management software. Integral to the Marketing module is a suite of ' white label ' marketing brochures letters, documents and advertising templates ( all customisable to your own Business identity ) which are tried and tested to stimulate new business opportunities.
Fully Business Enabled From Day 1
The essence of the Business Owner package is to provide a turn-key solution to get your Commercial Practice fully operational and business generating quickly and efficiently. You will be provided day to day business support from a dedicated Business Development Manager and have access to our Consultant team to discuss any case in specific detail including the most appropriate routes to successfully underwrite the case.
Shared Opportunity Support ( SOS )
The concept of Shared Opportunity Support is to provide a safety net for any case which may prove complex or beyond your level of confidence in the early stages of developing your business. With SOS you have the option on any particular business opportunity and at any time to consult with our support team on the best way to underwrite the opportunity and then elect to work the opportunity in partnership. Under these arrangements you retain full and absolute control of the client relationship, our team will underwrite the contract to completion as your specialist partner - fees on the case will be shared, generally on 50 : 50 basis.
Business Income Model and Projections
Business income is derived from commissions paid by Lender Partners and from Fees charged directly to clients.Projected total income from each client case will vary dependent on the size of the case and the type of financial product.Your business will focus on the more lucrative higher value Commercial projects which will net higher fee and commission income and we have provided some Case Studies of recent completed cases to provide an appreciation of the significant potential of this business opportunity. We envisage that Brokerplan Business Owners will work the opportunity on a full time basis with projected net profits in the first year of circa £75,000. We have developed a detailed Business Development Revenue and Expense forecast for Brokerplan Business Owners during the first year of operation and will provide this upon request to serious applicants.
Brokerplan - Business Owner Programme - Your Investment
The Brokerplan Business Owner program requires an initial one off non-refundable investment of £15,000. This programme fee covers all the elements of the package as detailed herein and listed in the Package Comparison Chart and is payable a minimum of 3 weeks prior to commencement of training. Once the programme fee is paid you will be allocated a Project Manager from our team to assist in all aspects of planning and preparatory work ahead of business launch. This will include web-site development, customization of business forms, brochures and collaterals and all necessary business registrations
The Brokerplan Business Owner will need to budget an additional £1,500 to cover other basic business set up expenses including obtaining a Consumer Credit License, Data Protection Registration and basic home office set up costs etc.
The allocated Project Manager will clearly define all the necessary requirements prior to business launch. Detailed expense and revenue projections / budgets are available to all prospective Brokerplan Business Owners and these can be made available upon confirmation of serious ongoing interest in the opportunity.
Ongoing Executive Mentorship
Executive mentorship and ongoing business support is offered to the Brokerplan Business Owner for the life of the business. Costs for the first year of business operation are included in the package fee and thereafter charged at an agreed rate dependent on the level of support /executive mentorship required.
As an indication, dedicated business development help desk and consultancy support would be charged at a current rate of £125 per quarter. This fee includes monthly updates to the Partner Lender Directory and production of monthly 'white label' e-newsletters for delivery to clients and business prospects.
